Uruguay defeated Chile 1-0 on Monday after an intense match and finished in the top of Group C of CONMEBOL Copa América Brazil 2019.
Both teams had already advanced to the quarter-finals before this match: Uruguay will face Peru, while Chile will face Colombia.
In the 82nd minute, Edinson Cavani's header, gave the Charrúas victory.
The goal, following a center of Jonathan Rodriguez headed by the 'Matador', encouraged a game that until then had been equal.
With this result, Uruguay finished top of Group C with seven points. Chile is second with six points, Japan in third place with two points and Ecuador last with one unit, both eliminated.
