Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia have already secured their place at the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027™, while Ecuador and Venezuela will compete for one of the final spots through the Qualifying Tournament.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027™ is beginning to take shape, and South American teams already know their path toward the tournament’s tenth edition.

Brazil will participate as the host nation, while Argentina and Colombia secured direct qualification thanks to their performance in the CONMEBOL Women’s Nations League. Ecuador and Venezuela, meanwhile, will remain in contention through the FIFA Qualifying Tournament, which will determine the final spots for the world’s premier women’s football competition.

Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia are already qualified

Brazil has secured its place at the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027™ as the host nation.

Argentina and Colombia joined the list of qualified teams after finishing first and second in the CONMEBOL Women’s Nations League, earning the two direct qualification spots allocated to the Confederation.

As a result, the three teams have already confirmed their participation in the tournament, which will take place from June 24 to July 25, 2027.

Ecuador and Venezuela will play in the Qualifying Tournament

Ecuador and Venezuela finished third and fourth in the CONMEBOL Women’s Nations League, results that granted them access to the FIFA Qualifying Tournament.

The competition will feature ten teams from the six confederations and will award the final three places for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027™.

It will be the last opportunity for both teams to secure a place in the final tournament and increase CONMEBOL’s representation.
