During the 70th Ordinary Congress of CONMEBOL, on April 10th, the official mascot of the CONMEBOL Copa América Brazil 2019, had a special space and could meet personalities such as FIFA President Gianni Infantino, CONMEBOL President Alejandro Domínguez and the presidents of the member associations of the South American football governing body. The name of the mascot was voted on by fans in the Facebook and Twitter profiles of the CONMEBOL Copa América and will be announced this Friday at 1 pm, Brasilia time. In addition, the capybara had a special meeting on Thursday with the symbol of the Brazilian National Team, Canarinho, at the Museum of the Brazilian national team. A marathonic day had the mascot, when last April 5 was publicly presented in the host country of the oldest tournament in the world.
