Venezuelan goalkeeper Wuilker FarÃñez described his team's draw in the match against Perú as "valuable" in CONMEBOL Copa América Brazil 2019, where he had a masterful save that avoided his team's defeat.
"It's an important draw, I think it's manageable, it's sad we can't win, but that's football, we have to keep going" said the goalkeeper from Millonarios, Colombia.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper said that this draw will help Venezuela to face Brazil in their second group match in Salvador on 18 June.
"This draw is very valuable for us and now we have to correct the details to face Brazil" he said.
Fariñez was one of the stars of the match when he saved the goal from the Peruvian players. In the second half, Edison Flórez finished off after receiving a pass from Jefferson Farfán, but the Venezuelan goalkeeper reacted quickly and cleared the shot.
La Vinotinto finished with ten men after Luis Mago's rejection, 75th minute.
"It's hard to face this team. They had one more player, we did our job (...) Brazil and Bolivia come next and we have to think about that", said Newcastle's striker Salomón Rondon.
