Peru ended their campaign in the CONMEBOL Copa América Fútbol Playa 2025™ in style: they defeated Ecuador 10-3 and finished in ninth place.

Branco's team had a fantastic start: by the beginning of the second period, they were already 4-0 ahead, thanks to goals from Lescano, Manco, Mori, and Alcántara.

Ecuador responded in that second period with two quick goals from Senge and Miguel Cruz. Early in the third period, the score was 3-4, thanks to a goal from their tournament standout: Ernesto Lara, the No. 10, who reached 8 goals in the CONMEBOL Copa América Fútbol Playa 2025™.
