Brazil defeated Colombia, qualified for the World Cup, and dreams of the title
The Canarinha claimed a 6-4 victory and will play in the final of the CONMEBOL Copa América Fútbol Playa 2025™.

- Secured a spot in the Seychelles World Cup.
- Edson Hulk scored a hat-trick.
Brazil fought hard in the first semifinal against Colombia but managed to come out on top and will now seek another continental title on Sunday.
Marco Octavio de Cerqueira’s team started strong: Edson Hulk and Rodrigo quickly put them ahead 2-0.
However, Colombia did not back down and recovered quickly. Pantoja and Rodríguez equalized within a minute, and Eduardo López, clearing the ball while Rodrigo attacked, put Colombia ahead in the sixth minute.
One of the standout players of the afternoon, Edson Hulk, scored twice to restore Brazil’s lead. The second of those goals was a brilliant display of Brazil’s talent on the sand: without letting the ball drop, from goalkeeper Bobô, Mauricinho, and Rodrigo set up a one-on-one for the No. 7, who headed the ball over the Colombian goalkeeper.
Brayan Gómez equalized again, but at the end of the second period, Rodrigo (the tournament’s top scorer with 10 goals) made it 5-4 for Brazil.
With just two minutes left in the match, Datinha sealed the victory, securing Brazil’s qualification for the Seychelles World Cup and the grand final of the CONMEBOL Copa América Fútbol Playa 2025™.
On Sunday, Colombia will aim for a win to secure third place and qualify for their second consecutive World Cup.
