The bottom two in Group A meet on Thursday with both in need of a win to strengthen their qualification prospects.
The teams will meet at the Arena Pantanal in Cuiabá at 21:00 GMT.
Bolivia are bottom with no points from their first two games while Uruguay are only slightly better off with the single point they picked up in their draw against Chile. Both teams need three points from this game.
"If we want to achieve things, we have to take a step or two forward in this game," Bolivia's Venezuelan manager César Farís explained. He also confirmed the side will welcome back talismanic striker and all-time leading scorer Marcelo Moreno.
Meanwhile 'maestro' Óscar Tabárez confirmed they are going out to get the win that "puts us in a better situation despite the fact we still need to play our fourth game. For this reason, we see this game as a final".
