Argentina defeated Venezuela 2-0 in the quarterfinals of CONMEBOL Copa América - Brazil 2019 and reached the semi-finals of the tournament, where they will meet Brazil next Tuesday in Belo Horizonte.
The two-time World Champion finished second in Group B with four points, played an intelligent match against the Vinotinto, led by Rafael Dudamel, who had more possession of the ball but was undecided in the goal point.
The goals for the Albiceleste were by Lautaro Martínez, from taco to 10', and by Giovani Lo Celso in 75'.
Lionel Scaloni's men will face five-time world champions Brazil on Tuesday at the Mineirão in Belo Horizonte (south-east), in a classic match between two continental champions.
